Milan is now home to Ielo’s first point of presence in Italy, giving the French infrastructure operator a new local foothold for customer traffic.
Direct routes to Italy are the main aim: the PoP is backed by activated capacity links connecting Milan with Lyon and Nice in France.
Mix adds the peering layer to that buildout, with Ielo joining the Milan-based Internet exchange point as part of its remote peering expansion.
The move extends Ielo’s network beyond France and is designed to improve connectivity options for clients serving Italian traffic.
