"I Want Your Love" hit streaming services on Wednesday, giving listeners the first public release from a 10-track set of previously unheard early David Bowie recordings.
The collection, due on 18 September as "David Bowie: The Shel Talmy Recordings," captures Bowie in his Davie Jones era and is billed as the most complete set from his sessions with producer Shel Talmy.
Jimmy Page and Nicky Hopkins appear on the recordings, while other unheard songs include "Cupid," "Leave Her to Me" and "I Live in Dreams."
Most of the tracks were made in 1964-65 with Davie Jones & The Lower Third or as solo demos, before Bowie changed his name and broke through with "Space Oddity" in 1969.
