Google Rolls Out Android 17 QPR1 Beta 7 to 20 Pixel Devices With July 2026 Patch

Android 17 QPR1 Beta 7 is now rolling out to Pixel phones, tablets and foldables, adding the July 2026 security patch in build CP31.260623.005.
The update targets three user-facing bugs: Battery Share failing to start or looping its charging animation, a blank Quick Settings gap after Wi-Fi was turned off, and a Quick Settings font-size controller crash.
20 supported devices can install the beta, from the Pixel 6a through the Pixel 10a lineup, with system images also available for the Android Emulator.
Google is distributing the release through the Android Beta Program as an over-the-air update, while directing users to the Android Beta Feedback app and issue tracker for new bug reports.
