Cumberland Medical Center became the first hospital in East Tennessee to introduce the AI-powered HYDROS Robotic System for enlarged prostate treatment.
The system delivers minimally invasive Aquablation therapy, aimed at relieving symptoms of benign prostatic hyperplasia, or BPH.
Larry Helm, an early adopter highlighted during Men’s Health Month in June, said the treatment changed his life.
BPH affects more than 40 million men in the United States, giving the rollout broader significance beyond the regional launch.
