Halo Studios Unveils 2026 Cast for Campaign Evolved Ahead of July 28 Launch

July 28 marks the release of Halo: Campaign Evolved on Xbox Series X|S, PC and, for the first time, PlayStation 5, with Halo Studios now detailing the remake’s voice cast.
25 years after Halo: Combat Evolved debuted, several roles were recast because original actors had retired, including Sergeant Major Avery Johnson and Captain Jacob Keyes.
Keston John takes over as Johnson and Keith Silverstein as Keyes, while Steve Downes and Jen Taylor return as Master Chief and Cortana with rerecorded and new dialogue for the expanded campaign.
Tim Dadabo also returns as 343 Guilty Spark and adds a new role in three Operation: METEORITE prequel missions, while Foe Hammer reuses original 2001 audio to preserve the game’s feel.
The remake largely keeps the 2001 game’s story, levels and gameplay structure while refreshing its presentation for a cross-platform launch that opens the series to PlayStation players.
