Summary
Jennifer Jimenez, 41, and Christina Alcalde, 45, were arrested in separate July 5 traffic stops after police said both drove the same white Jeep while impaired.
Around 2 a.m., officers stopped Jimenez after the Jeep drifted into oncoming lanes and over a curb; she was charged with DUI and refusing testing.
Less than three hours later, deputies were alerted Alcalde had taken the wheel again, and arrested her after the Jeep drifted in its lane and she failed field sobriety exercises.
Bodycam video shows Alcalde telling a deputy she was "way better" and worried about Jimenez, while police said she had appeared drunk during the first stop and had been sent home by rideshare.
Both women were booked into Lake County Jail on DUI and refusal-to-submit charges, with bond set at $2,000 each; they are listed as principals at Pinecrest schools in central Florida.
