Cara Delevingne said sobriety reshaped how she sees addiction, arguing in a Playboy interview that social media algorithms can trap people much like drugs and alcohol.
2022 became the turning point in that view: Delevingne said on "Call Her Daddy" that daily GHB use and cocaine to stay awake led to seizures, including one before paparazzi photos at Burning Man.
Those experiences made sobriety a public and personal mission, she said, adding that fans now approach her to discuss their own recovery and that the change "saved my life."
Delevingne also said recovery altered her relationships, forcing her to reconsider seeking love and validation through sex and making intimacy sober more emotional and difficult.
