Summary
€1.9 million in pre-seed funding will help Paris-based Mio expand engineering, speed product development and add customers across Europe and the US as it launches publicly.
Fabric.vc and Topology.vc co-led the round for a startup founded in 2025 by Arthaud Mesnard, which embeds an AI agent inside Slack rather than asking workers to open a separate app.
More than 100 companies already use Mio daily, and early-access customers save an average 8.2 hours a week through tasks such as meeting recaps, CRM updates, reporting and engineering work.
Mio says its model-agnostic system draws on company data from Slack and optional tools including Google Workspace, Notion, Linear, HubSpot and GitHub, while not training models on customer data.
The launch reflects a broader shift from chatbots that answer questions to workplace AI agents that act inside existing software, with Mio betting Slack will be a key hub.
