Canva Launches Code 2.0 With 50-Plus Templates for AI-Built Websites and Apps

Canva unveiled Code 2.0, an AI coding tool that lets users create websites, apps and interactive experiences from prompts, templates or imported HTML, then edit them inside Canva’s visual design editor.
More than 50 new templates, real-time collaboration and direct links to Canva’s brand kit, image library and conversational AI are meant to keep projects customizable and on-brand without leaving the platform.
Users can manually change text, colors, fonts and images, while the published output supports custom or free Canva domains, mobile preview and automatic adaptation to different screen sizes.
The launch extends Canva AI 2.0, introduced months ago as a unified interface for design, automation and content creation built on the company’s Proteus, Lucid Origin and I2V models.
