Summary
Bengaluru-based Medial has ceased operations, founder and CEO Niket Raj Dwivedi said in a LinkedIn post.
500,000 users across 30 countries had joined the platform, which pitched itself as a professional network for startup founders, employees and investors, including users from Tier II and III cities.
$500,000 in funding from Ortella Global Capital in December 2024 had backed Medial, which also sold premium access to VC trackers, startup jobs and exclusive content.
Medial competed with Grapevine, Hood, Fishbowl, Blind and Reddit, and had previously said it delivered 10x user growth and sixfold engagement gains.
