Microsoft Azure resources now appear inside AWS Security Hub, which added monitoring for Azure VMs, container images, Function Apps and identities.
The expansion gives customers one place for posture management, vulnerability management and security response across AWS and Azure, with findings shown in the same prioritized view and handled through the same automation workflows.
Security Hub also launched Network Scanning, which probes internet-facing assets across AWS and Azure to confirm actual reachability, identify open ports and detect services running behind them.
Each reachable port creates a finding that Security Hub Exposures can correlate with other alerts and configurations to assess broader risk; the feature is on by default for new customers and included in Security Hub Essentials at no extra cost.
