Australian Police Release 25-Year-Old Falconio Murder Photos as A$500,000 Reward Stands

Previously unseen investigation photos were released 25 years after Peter Falconio was shot near Barrow Creek, with police hoping the images trigger fresh tips on his still-missing remains.
Bradley Murdoch died in prison last year aged 67 without revealing where Falconio's body was, leaving detectives to seek public help after exhausting direct efforts to get an answer.
The images include Murdoch during the investigation, Joanne Lees hours after the attack and with cable-tie injuries, the couple's abandoned orange Volkswagen Kombi, and crime-scene photographs.
Murdoch was convicted in 2005 of murdering Falconio and assaulting and attempting to kidnap Lees, despite maintaining his innocence and failing in two appeals.
Northern Territory police say the case cannot be considered closed until Falconio's remains are found, and a reward of up to A$500,000 remains on offer.
