Samsung’s next Camera Assistant update for One UI 9.0 adds a new 1/60-second minimum shutter-speed setting, expanding Photo mode choices beyond 1/1000, 1/500, 1/120 and 1/30 seconds.
The update also introduces Mirror View, a new feature initially limited to the Galaxy Z Fold 8, Z Fold 8 Ultra and Z Flip 8, though Samsung has not explained what it does.
A broader change lets users disable the camera app’s auto-off behavior so it stays open when left idle, alongside added language support and usability tweaks for TILTA wireless lens controllers.
Samsung is expected to roll out the update around the late-July launch of the new foldables, with Mirror View likely reaching older Galaxy foldables later.
