Violent J said the show remains JCW’s version of WrestleMania, staged at the annual fan festival where the promotion is “at home” in front of its core Juggalo audience.
The 54-year-old traced JCW’s roots to a lifelong wrestling obsession that began in 1983, then led him and Shaggy 2 Dope from Midwest independent matches to appearances in ECW, WWF and WCW.
JCW now extends beyond the annual event with “Lunacy,” a weekly Thursday night YouTube show, as Violent J pitches the promotion as broad enough to offer “something for everybody.”
