Summary
Grand Teton National Park issued a public health advisory after a second confirmed measles case in Teton County, warning visitors about possible exposure at Colter Bay sites on July 7.
Two park locations were identified: the Colter Bay General/Grocery Store, Coffee Bar and Gift Shop from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., and the Colter Bay Cabin Office from 3 p.m. to midnight.
Wyoming health officials are leading contact tracing and told anyone at those locations to monitor for symptoms for 21 days and call ahead before seeking care.
Measles can linger in the air for up to 2 hours after an infected person leaves, a risk amplified in busy indoor park spaces during peak summer travel.
The alert follows Wyoming's first confirmed measles case in May in Fremont County and also lists possible Teton County exposures at Smith's and Wendy's on July 5.
