Police Arrest 44-Year-Old Man After 24-Year-Old Woman Is Fatally Stabbed in West London

Met Police arrested a 44-year-old man on suspicion of murder after a 24-year-old woman was found with stab injuries at a property on Uxbridge Road in Hayes and pronounced dead at the scene.
Officers were called at 07:55 BST on Sunday and also found a man in his 20s outside the property with stab injuries; police were awaiting an update on his condition.
Police said the suspect was located nearby, matched the description being sought and was taken to hospital with injuries believed to have been caused after jumping from a window.
Detectives said the investigation is at an early stage, do not believe there is a wider threat to the public and expect an increased police presence in the area for several days.
