$899 is what Bryce Harper charges on Cameo, and Pennsylvania regulators are reviewing a video FanDuel allegedly obtained there and sent to bettor Terry Thompson.
Thompson says he lost $1.5 million on FanDuel, lost his home to foreclosure and entered a psychiatric facility for six days, where he was diagnosed with gambling addiction disorder.
His lawsuit says FanDuel and DraftKings fueled that addiction with VIP perks, including Super Bowl LVII tickets, hotel stays, event access, transportation and betting credits meant to keep him wagering.
FanDuel said it trains staff to spot problem gambling and offers tools and resources, while the gaming board said only that it is aware of the situation and is reviewing it.
The case lands amid broader warnings from addiction advocates and journalists that fast-growing online sports betting is driving rising harm, especially among young men.
