Ukraine Allocates UAH 3.04 Billion for Vyshneve Recovery After July 6 Attack

UAH 3.04 billion will be drawn from Ukraine’s reserve fund to help Vyshneve recover from the July 6 Russian strike, Prime Minister Yuliia Svyrydenko said.
The money is meant to compensate residents for destroyed or damaged homes, rebuild housing, repair apartment blocks and restore utility infrastructure.
280 residential buildings in Vyshneve were damaged, according to the Communities and Territories Development Ministry — 253 private houses and 27 apartment buildings.
The July 6 overnight drone and missile attack on Kyiv and the surrounding region killed nine people and injured 48 in Kyiv region, with Vyshneve alone reporting damage to more than 200 facilities.
