Warhammer 40,000 has put multiple beginner-focused products up for pre-order, led by a new Starter Set with 46 miniatures, 15 terrain pieces, double-sided boards, dice, rulers and the full Core Rulebook.
A smaller Introductory Set targets first-time players with 12 miniatures, a playmat, card terrain, six paints, a brush and a 48-page beginner handbook covering play and painting.
Two paint bundles expand the entry range: Space Marines Intercessors + Paints includes two miniatures, while Orks Boyz + Paints adds three figures including a Gretchin; a separate Paints + Tools Set packs 13 paints and hobby tools.
Warhammer also added faction-specific starter boxes, with Space Marines and Orks sets each built around a full Combat Patrol plus 11 paints, a brush, a texture spreader and an introductory booklet.
The pre-order wave extends to Black Library titles, including Rob Young’s Ghosts of Cadia special edition and hardback, Longshot in new formats, and a new hardback of The Devastation of Baal, with several editions available while stocks last.
