Summary
August 8 is the key date in Dodge’s 60th-anniversary Charger campaign, when Roadkill Nights near Detroit will unveil the most powerful version yet of the 2026 Charger SIX-PACK Scat Pack.
The nationwide tour starts this weekend at Carlisle Chrysler Nationals in Pennsylvania, where Dodge will spotlight the gas-powered SIXPACK Charger and publicly show the new Purple Haze color.
July 12 and July 26 events at the Petersen Automotive Museum in Los Angeles will put current and classic Chargers on the road, including a Route 66 centennial parade and an All-American Cruise-In.
The push comes as Dodge tries to strengthen the eighth-generation Charger after phasing out HEMI models in 2023; the current lineup spans a 670-hp Daytona EV, a 550-hp Scat Pack and a 420-hp R/T.
The celebration runs through September 18-20 at the NHRA Great Lakes Nationals in Michigan, underscoring Dodge’s effort to tie the Charger’s 1966 origins to its new multi-energy future.
