Missouri Flood Search Continues for 1 Missing Woman as Rescuers Save Hundreds

Summary
Faith Gregory remained the only person missing Saturday after floodwaters swept a Crawford County house from its foundation, with family and friends resuming the search for her and her dogs.
Up to 12 inches of rain hit parts of Missouri, triggering flash-flood warnings, washing out roads and driving evacuations as slow-moving storms pushed south.
More than 200 children and staff were airlifted from Camp Taum Sauk by Black Hawk helicopters, while other rescues pulled people from trees, rooftops and stranded vehicles.
Governor Mike Kehoe declared a state of emergency, and officials warned the Black River near Annapolis could crest above 28 feet — a record level.
The National Weather Service said the storm threat now stretches from southern Missouri into the Ohio and Tennessee river valleys, with damaging winds and more flash flooding possible into Sunday.
