Trump Administration Adds 10 Meat Companies to Product of USA Label

Ten additional meat and poultry companies will begin using the USDA’s voluntary “Product of USA” label on products sourced from U.S. farms and ranches, the Trump administration said Friday.

The newly added companies include Harris Ranch, One World Beef, Upper Iowa Beef, American Foods Group, Agri Beef, FPL Food, Hadrick Farms, Fort Worth Meat Packers, Wholestone Farms and Harrison’s Poultry.
USDA says the label helps shoppers identify genuinely domestic meat while boosting independent ranchers, family farmers and small- to mid-sized processors.
The move fits a broader domestic-processing push: last month USDA launched a program offering up to $500 million to help eligible U.S.-owned beef processors expand.
