Summary
Two boys, ages 10 and 5, were taken to Children's Hospital with CPR in progress after a severe Thursday evening crash at 114th Street and West Center Road in Omaha.
Omaha police said a turning Subaru collided with a Chevy Malibu around 6:35 p.m., and the impact was so severe it ripped the Subaru in half.
Both drivers were taken to Bergan Mercy with life-threatening injuries, and investigators are examining whether the 28-year-old Malibu driver was under the influence of alcohol.
Speed is also being investigated as a factor as police continue to piece together what caused the intersection crash.
