System Software 22.39 has reached about 20% of compatible Garmin smartwatches, marking a new stable release for the Fenix 8 line and related models.
The update targets two problems left by version 22.38: battery drain and voice call issues reported by some Fenix 8 owners.
Garmin says the battery fix could improve real-world endurance after installation, while the call fix addresses glitches during voice calls.
The release follows Garmin's recent 23.11 and 23.12 beta cycle, but 22.39 is a separate stable patch rather than the full result of that 23.xx development track.
