iOS 27 developer beta 3 resolved a bug that saved and shared full iPhone screenshots even after users cropped them in the preview interface.
The flaw created a privacy risk because hidden details—such as addresses, phone numbers, message previews or notifications—could remain visible in the saved image.
Beta 2 did not fix the issue for the tester, while beta 3 consistently saved the cropped version correctly after repeated checks; the Roku remote app freeze also stopped.
Apple has not commented, and the report cautions that developer betas can still break apps, drain battery life and introduce new bugs until a broader public fix arrives.
