ONS data from birth registrations showed Olivia remained the most popular girls' name in England and Wales for a fourth straight year, while Muhammad led boys' names for a third year running.
Lily was the main mover in the latest rankings, rising to second among girls and pushing Amelia down to third; Noah stayed second for boys and Leo ranked third.
Top-10 girls' names also included Isla, Florence, Freya, Poppy, Elsie, Ivy and new entrant Isabella, while boys' top 10 featured Luca, Arthur, Oliver, George, Oscar, Theodore and Freddie.
New names entering the top 100 included Eliana, Gracie, Alba and Lilah for girls, and Carter, Ruben, Stanley and Vincent for boys.
The annual list also showed names losing ground, with Ellie, Amelie and Jessica dropping out of the girls' top 100 and Grayson, Brody and Bodhi falling from the boys' rankings.
