Influencer Connor Murphy, 32, Drowns in Thai Lake After Erratic Episode

Connor Murphy, a 32-year-old U.S. fitness influencer, was found dead about 20 meters from shore after entering a lake near his rental villa in Thailand's Samut Prakan province.
Witnesses said Murphy had been behaving erratically before swimming out, then appeared to lose strength; rescuers from the Poh Teck Tung Foundation recovered his body after about 30 minutes in water more than 10 meters deep.
Police said an initial examination found no visible signs of assault, and a post-mortem examination with toxicology testing is pending as the investigation continues.
Murphy had been staying at the villa with his 22-year-old girlfriend under a three-month lease; she told police his behavior that day was unusual and said she had never seen him use drugs.
Murphy, a Texas-born creator with more than 2.7 million followers across YouTube and Instagram, was known for bodybuilding and 'looksmaxxing' content.
