July 15’s ROC the Block fair at Rochester Public Market will host 144 vendors from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., making it the program’s largest event in six years.
Employers including RTS, Spectrum, Trillium Health, Qualitrol and American Medical Response will join community resource partners offering help with resumes, applications, housing and childcare.
The city’s Workforce Development Mobile Unit will provide Wi-Fi and laptops on site so job seekers can update resumes and complete applications during the event.
ROC the Block takes businesses and recruiters into Rochester’s four quadrants through summer and early fall, with remaining fairs scheduled for Aug. 19 at the Salvation Army and Sept. 24 at Parcel 5.
