Lolworth Developments has submitted an outline planning application for Cambridge 25, an employment park at A14 Junction 25 aimed at housing new and expanding businesses in Greater Cambridge.
Around 2,900 jobs are projected across logistics, advanced manufacturing and mid-tech, with the scheme also including a community hub, café and publicly accessible site layout.
Nearly half the site would be green infrastructure, including a new nature park, alongside a pledged biodiversity net gain above 20%, BREEAM Excellent buildings and a net-zero carbon target.
Transport plans include two new access points onto the A1307 and upgraded A14 connections; the application also includes parameter plans, a design code, environmental impact assessment and transport assessment.
South Cambridgeshire District Council will determine the application after review by planning officers, with initial works targeted for autumn 2027 and main construction in 2028 if approved.
