Samsung and Qualcomm posted an Instagram teaser showing a 4:3 foldable silhouette powered by a Snapdragon chip, strongly signaling the Galaxy Z Fold 8 will use the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 for Galaxy.
The video stops short of naming the full chipset, but it reinforces earlier leaks and same-day reports that Samsung’s next book-style foldable will carry Qualcomm’s custom “for Galaxy” processor.
The 4:3 display shape in the teaser also aligns with reports that the Z Fold 8 will be Samsung’s first book-style foldable with that aspect ratio.
Samsung is expected to unveil the Z Fold 8, Z Fold 8 Ultra and Z Flip 8 later this month, with previous reports pointing to a July 22 Galaxy Unpacked event in London.
