Play Services 26.26 lets Wear OS devices add enterprise work profiles, bringing secure work email, calendar and contacts access to smartwatches including Samsung Galaxy Watch models.
That support matters because personal Gmail already works on Wear OS, but work accounts have been harder to use; the update also opens the door to corporate credentials and secure notifications on One UI Watch devices.
Google said the same release also speeds in-app Google One purchases, improves work-profile setup reliability on Galaxy phones and expands support for Android-powered PCs.
The change broadens Wear OS's enterprise appeal by making employer-approved work data available directly on personal watches.
