Biles answered an Instagram commenter on July 6 after the user questioned why she and husband Jonathan Owens were invited to Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s July 3 wedding.
“I only show ya’ll what I want ya’ll to know,” the 29-year-old gymnast wrote, pushing back on claims that she and Swift had no visible connection.
Her response came under a date-night post from the wedding, where Biles and 30-year-old Owens wore coordinated maroon looks and she captioned the newlyweds’ celebration “The perfect love story.”
The appearance also marked a public outing nearly 1 month after Biles said she had “almost died” in an undisclosed medical emergency and was recovering at home.
