Apple TV gave a series order to “Guilty Creatures,” a new thriller starring and executive produced by Julia Garner and based on Mikita Brottman’s true-crime book.
The story follows two adulterous, religious lovers in the Florida panhandle whose romance leads to murder, tracing the emotional toll of living as killers for 18 years.
Craig Gillespie will direct, Stuart Zicherman will serve as showrunner and executive producer, and Sarah DeLappe adapted the book for the screen.
Tomorrow Studios is producing through first-look deals with Garner’s Alma Margo and Gillespie’s Fortunate Jack, extending Apple TV’s push into prestige true-crime drama.
