ICE Renews $10 Million Hunt for 2 El Chapo Sons as Cartel Crackdown Intensifies

ICE on Monday issued a new wanted poster for Ivan Archivaldo Guzman Salazar and Jesus Alfredo Guzman Salazar, offering $10 million as the agency renewed its push to capture the two remaining fugitive Chapitos.
The brothers are charged with conspiracy to distribute controlled substances and running a continuing criminal enterprise, and ICE labeled them armed and dangerous.
Two other sons — Joaquin Guzman Lopez and Ovidio Guzman Lopez — have already been captured through Operation Take Back America and are reportedly cooperating with authorities while awaiting sentencing.
Ron Vitello, CBP's acting deputy commissioner, said higher drug seizures and stronger U.S. military action in the Caribbean point to tighter cocaine supply and rising prices.
The renewed hunt comes as Trump says cartels are "totally running Mexico" and both Washington and Mexico's Sheinbaum government say they are targeting the Sinaloa cartel's current leadership.
