Summary
Three NFL teams have contacted Terrion Arnold days after the Detroit Lions released the 23-year-old cornerback following kidnapping and armed robbery charges in Florida, his attorney said.
A July 10 hearing will decide whether Arnold must wear a GPS tether while on bond, after prosecutors argued his release from the Lions changed the circumstances behind a judge's earlier refusal.
Arnold posted $1 million bond Tuesday and was freed from Hillsborough County Jail about a day after Chief Judge Christopher Sabella rejected prosecutors' bid to hold him without bail.
Steinberg said Arnold expects to sign with another NFL team within 30 days and plans to have his agent testify about those opportunities to argue that a tether is still unnecessary.
Arnold is one of seven people charged over an alleged February plot to lure three men to a Florida apartment for a violent confrontation; he has denied involvement.
