Pennsylvania authorities arrested Paul Waller, 39, on Sunday after Delaware police accused him of shooting a 35-year-old woman in the face near Arden on July 4.
The shooting happened around 6:45 p.m. outside a pizza shop at Marsh and Harvey roads after an argument between Waller and the woman, according to troopers.
The victim was hospitalized in serious condition, and Waller is set to be extradited to Delaware to face charges including first-degree attempted murder and a weapons count.
Delaware State Police said the Criminal Investigations Unit is still investigating and is seeking witnesses or others with relevant information.
