Samsung Galaxy S27 Ultra Needs 3 Fixes After S26 Ultra Camera and Qi2 Flaws

Three changes top the S27 Ultra wish list after months with the S26 Ultra: better close-focus performance, removal or overhaul of the 3x telephoto camera, and a camera redesign that works with Qi2 accessories.
The biggest complaint is camera behavior in imperfect light, where the S26 Ultra struggles to focus on dark subjects and often fails to trigger macro mode because the macro button appears only when the phone detects close range.
Samsung’s 3x telephoto is described as redundant because the 200MP main camera often produces better 3x crops, while the dedicated 3x sensor has changed little since the S21 Ultra and overlaps with the newer 5x setup.
Qi2 use adds a hardware gripe: with a magnetic case, some battery packs can obstruct the 5x lens and interfere with charging, strengthening the case for a new camera layout or dropping the 3x module.
Battery life, 60W charging, performance and One UI remain strong points, and the report argues the S27 Ultra could be near-perfect if Samsung fixes those three areas without changing much else.
