Summary
Pilatus is now factory-installing Gogo Galileo satellite broadband and Lufthansa Technik cabin entertainment on PC-24 business jets, eliminating aftermarket retrofits that typically add cost and certification delays.
The system uses Eutelsat OneWeb low-Earth-orbit satellites and has FAA and EASA certification, giving operators low-latency connectivity for video calls, cloud access and data-heavy work across international routes.
Lufthansa Technik’s cabin package centers on a 10-inch touchscreen with 3D moving maps, entertainment controls, USB charging, four speakers, a subwoofer and automatic mood lighting; an optional berthable divan targets longer flights.
Pilatus says the integrated antenna design avoids meaningful drag, noise or performance penalties, while operators in Switzerland, Germany and France report equipped aircraft are already flying regular European business routes.
The upgrade adds about $500,000-$600,000 to a PC-24 purchase, with monthly connectivity fees of $4,000-$6,000, strengthening the jet’s position against rivals that still rely on retrofit connectivity.
