Chelsea Green and Tiffany Stratton copied Sophie Cunningham’s viral finger-pointing gesture during a six-woman tag match on Friday Night SmackDown in Atlantic City.
The taunt echoed Cunningham’s June 22 point at Phoenix Mercury forward DeWanna Bonner, a moment that drew a technical foul in Indiana’s 86-77 win and then spread widely online.
Green leaned into the crossover on X, writing, “When @WWE meets @WNBA,” though Jade Cargill, Michin and B-Fab went on to beat Flair, Stratton and Green.
Cunningham said Friday that “every company” has posted the meme, including the White House, and called the technical for the gesture “the weakest thing I’ve ever seen in my life.”
