Google rolled out its 2026 Fourth of July Doodle on July 3, marking the United States semiquincentennial ahead of the July 4 holiday.
The animated GIF shows a waving American flag behind the Google logo, with confetti added to the artwork and to the linked search-results page.
Google said the Doodle celebrates 250 years of the USA and highlighted traditional Independence Day gatherings such as barbecues, parades and fireworks.
The early posting aligns with this year’s calendar, as many Americans begin celebrating on July 3 because July 4 falls on a Saturday.
