$1,635 was the get-in price for Monday’s USA-Belgium match in Seattle at 6 p.m. ET Saturday, lifting it from the fourth-highest to the second-highest among the eight round-of-16 games.
That rebound followed a sharp slide: prices fell to $1,423 Saturday afternoon, down 32% in three days, after spiking to $2,836 when the United States clinched its knockout berth with a 2-0 win over Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The match had been one of the tournament’s hottest tickets, with the cheapest seat nearing $4,000 on June 1, before demand cooled despite Belgium playing its third game in Seattle and basing camp 10 miles from the stadium.
Only Mexico-England, at $3,574, is now pricier in the round of 16; Canada-Morocco was the cheapest at $721 after Canada’s 3-0 elimination loss to Morocco.
