A tipster says Apple’s iPhone 18 Pro Max could deliver battery life comparable to Android flagships using 7,000mAh silicon-carbon batteries, despite a rumored 5,567mAh cell.
The claim hinges on more than battery size: Apple’s expected A20 Pro 2nm chip and iOS 27 CPU-scheduling improvements are cited as key drivers of longer runtime.
That would build on the iPhone 17 Pro Max, whose 5,088mAh eSIM version already competed closely on endurance with much larger Android batteries.
The report notes a fuller comparison will come later this year, when Android rivals with 2nm chips such as Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 and Exynos 2700 reach market.
