MIT Names 3 Leadership Fellows for 13-Startup Delta V Accelerator

Summary
Jaylen Brown, Lauren Holiday and former Netflix CEO Marc Randolph will join MIT’s Martin Trust Center this summer as inaugural Entrepreneurship Leadership Fellows, advising 13 startups in its delta v accelerator.
The trio was recruited to give founders leadership and resilience lessons beyond technical startup advice; Randolph will also answer questions as a pen pal for participants.
Delta v already offers each startup team a $75,000 no-strings-attached stipend, and the center recently secured a $6 million commitment from Klaviyo co-founders Andrew Bialecki and Ed Hallen to expand the program.
MIT says that backing could help delta v challenge California’s Y Combinator while keeping its nonprofit model, which does not take equity stakes in participating startups.
