Waltz Rebukes Iran's UN Envoy Over 808 Bahrain Attacks at Security Council

Summary
At an emergency UN Security Council meeting, Mike Waltz told Iran's Amir Saeid Iravani that Tehran "will not silence" the body after Iran denied targeting civilians in Bahrain and Kuwait.
Waltz held up images he said showed a Bahraini family home destroyed by a Shahed drone, a tourist hotel hit and a first-responder building deliberately targeted, challenging Iran's claim that accusations were fabricated.
Bahrain's foreign minister said the country has faced 808 attacks since Feb. 28 — 203 ballistic missiles and 605 armed drones — killing three civilians and injuring 465.
Iravani said the council should not have met and accused the U.S., Bahrain and Western members of lies and disinformation, while Washington and Tehran keep trading blame for violating a fragile ceasefire.
The UN clash followed Sunday's drone and missile attacks on Bahrain and Kuwait after new U.S. strikes on Iran, extending a cycle that officials say began with an Iranian drone strike on a merchant vessel off Oman.
