Summary
Paul McIntyre, Peter Cavanagh and Jordan Devine were found not guilty of murdering journalist Lyra McKee more than seven years after her death.
Prosecutors had argued the three accompanied a lone gunman to a firing point in Londonderry's Creggan area and encouraged or assisted the shooting, but the defense said the case relied on pure speculation.
McKee, 29, was shot dead in April 2019 while standing near police vehicles and watching disturbances in the Creggan area.
The New IRA, a dissident republican paramilitary group, previously claimed responsibility for the killing.
