Google Wallet Rolls Out Gmail-Based Order Tracking in US on Android

Google Wallet’s new order-tracking feature is now going live on Android devices in the US, adding delivery cards to the homepage when a package is arriving soon.
Gmail supplies the data—detailed receipts, tracking numbers and shipping status—and tapping a card opens a page with purchased items, email links and package tracking info.
The rollout also adds an orders carousel under Transactions and a list view for order history, while users can delete any order shown in Wallet.
Google says the feature works with a large number of top US merchants, but orders from smaller sellers or non-US merchants may not appear.
The update extends Wallet’s recent homepage redesign, pushing the app further toward a dashboard for passes, transactions and deliveries.
