Around 1:30 a.m., officers responding to a home on the 2100 block of Clover Street found the man outside with stab wounds and the woman inside with similar injuries; both were taken to a trauma hospital.

The investigation also was tied to a police shooting involving a Simi Valley officer at Los Robles Regional Medical Center in Thousand Oaks around noontime.
