Summary
Alfie Watts, 22, said a thief smashed his car window in Cardiff on Tuesday night and stole his laptop, a sports racquet and a packet of Werther's Original after the vehicle was left for about 20 minutes.
The laptop held presentations for his UK school tour on positivity, resilience and mental health, but cloud backups meant three talks in Cardiff on Wednesday still went ahead.
South Wales Police said no suspects had been identified and told Watts they would check CCTV, while also warning that smash-and-grab thieves target belongings left in vehicles.
Watts called the theft a "low point" after two other recent incidents — his phone was stolen in London last week and his original laptop was taken in Santiago two months ago.
The break-in hit during a 35-school tour and after Watts, who has 320,000 Instagram followers, recently raised £50,000 for mental health charity Young Minds.
