Josh Gad has joined Warner Bros.' untitled “Ocean’s 11” prequel in a significant role, adding to a cast led by Margot Robbie and Bradley Cooper as production nears.
Robbie said at CinemaCon the film follows Danny Ocean’s parents pulling off a heist at the 1962 Monaco Grand Prix, with plot details otherwise still tightly held.
Cooper wrote the screenplay, is directing and producing with Robbie’s LuckyChap, while Wagner Moura and Monica Barbaro have already signed on, with Moura set to play the villain.
