CBS said Michael Weatherly will reprise Tony DiNozzo in NCIS Season 24 for a season-long arc, bringing back a founding team member who exited in 2016 after 13 seasons.
No plot details were released, but the return lands after Leon Vance's death in the March 24 500th episode left openings inside the team.
